USAGE :
‘Going to’ is used to :
(a) Talk about a future event for which you have present evidence.
(b) Talk about an action in the future which is decided, or planned.
EXAMPLES :
I’m going to see Jane this weekend.
Are you going to stay for lunch after the meeting?
We are going to see big changes in our industry this year.
I’m not going to keep you for long.
I don’t think she’s going to be in the company for much longer.
I’m going to work on that this afternoon.
